I use Kritik to break down the final term paper that students submit to me. I create activities that focus on each section of the paper, so students can receive plenty of personalized feedback in each stage of their paper.
Students found things I missed
These students are truly giving the kind of feedback that I would give. In many cases, the students pick up on things that I missed after reviewing their work.
I was very happy with the way it worked out, and the students did not have any issues adapting to Kritik for their submissions.
I create activities for students in which they essentially are submitting their homework on Kritik. I then provide an answer key for the students, and they use that answer key and a rubric in Kritik to evaluate each other.
To ensure students are on the right track, Professors can calibrate Kritik activities to ensure that the feedback and grades that students are as accurate to what the professor would have provided.
If a student feels that all of their peers have graded them incorrectly, they can "raise their hand" to dispute their grade, and the professor has the opportunity to review and override the student's grade.
Value Outside the Class
Students are exposed to the peer evaluation process in a safe, refined process that will undoubtedly avoid mistakes in their careers as managers in Professor Currie's MBA course.
