Kritik recognized in the Top 50 Emerging Global Companies in Higher Education

In June 2022, Emerge Education named Kritik one of the top 50 ed-tech emerging global companies in higher education. The award recognizes emerging companies in the Edtech industry making strides in Higher Education.  There were three main criteria's on which companies were picked: Student Experience, Employment and Careers, and New Markets and Research.

Since it was founded in June 2019, Kritik has over 100,000 students, 450 instructors and 150 instutions on board. Kritik’s AI powered peer assessment tool is designed to enhance students' higher order and critical thinking skills in online or in-person classes. Kritik distributes fair and accurate assessments by harnessing collective intelligence to simplify workflows and reduce turnaround time on feedback for instructors and students. Currently, Kritik has had over 1.5 million peer evaluations submitted on the platform.

Other companies that were on this list included StuDocu, BibliU, Credly, and Engageli.
